Some insurance companies contact an automobile repair shop to be a Direct Repair Provider and handle their customer's collision repair and claims processing. Taylor's participates in some of these programs if the insurance company does not require us to take short cuts and we can make the decision on how the car should be properly repaired. Although we participate in some direct repair programs, we want the customer to know, this in no way eliminates their freedom of choice. Some insurance companies and repair facilities may try to pressure the customer to a preferred shop; however, the customer has the final and legal right to choose the shop of their choice for repairs. The customer is free to select any repair facility they feel will do the highest quality repairs to their vehicle. 

We provide all customers with an itemized estimate of repairs before we begin repairs. With the complexity of today's vehicles, there may be additional damage found once we have begun repairs; however, with the customers permission, we will contact the insurance company on your behalf so the insurance company's representative can inspect the additional damage. When we notify you that repairs have been completed we will give you a final invoice showing every part that was replaced and exactly how the vehicle was repaired. Our goal is to SATISFY OUR CUSTOMERS.

Once repairs are completed, we will let you know exactly how much of the repair is your financial responsibility. If you have a deductible, it will be paid to Taylor's and not the insurance company. If we participate in a direct repair program with your insurance company, we will bill them directly for the amount above your deductible.
